Math Drills

*This site has free printable math worksheets over every skill imaginable. All of the worksheets are PDFs and there are multiple worksheets for each skill. Great Site.

Math Fact Cafe

*Similar to the Math Drills website. You can create custom print outs for a variety of math skills. In addition, there are interactive flashcards for students to practice.

Math Games

*Math Games for the math curriculum Everyday Math. This site is interactive games for the first grade curriculum. Each game is separated according to unit.

Arcademic Games

*This site has interactive games for math skills. The games are similar to playing arcade games  but with a twist. Students use their math skills to complete the games.

 

Super Teacher Wksheets

*Probably one of my favorite sites. It has both reading and math printable worksheets. Separated by skills, this site has what you are looking for to make supplemental worksheets.

*Need a resource to help your early or emergent readers? This site has interactive games that help develop all the skills needed as a beginning reader.

 

 Sight Words

*Students can learn Sight Words with Samson on this site. They can learn the words, identify the words, build the words and also get a quiz over the words. Awesome!!

Digital Books

*This site has links to a variety of online books. My favorite is Tumble Books. Tumble Books allows you to listen to children's books read aloud. In addition, there are games that go with each book.

 

 Alphabetantics

*This is a Wiki page that has student and teacher created videos introducing the letters in our alphabet. A fun way to introduce each letter. You can even add your own videos.

 

 

  Browser Books

*A website that was created to allow beginning readers a place to read books online in their web browser. A great way to motivate the beginning reader.

 

 

Arcademic Games 

*This site has interactive games for reading skills. The games are similar to playing arcade games  but with a twist. Students use their reading skills to complete the games.

*This site allows you to create a collage of pictures and videos to make a poster. If you have a star student of the week, great site to make a poster.

 

Animoto

*Say good-bye to boring slide shows. This site allows you to upload images and add music. A slide show is created in which picture movement is oriented with your music.

 

Vocaroo

*Push the record button and your off and making an mp3. As soon as you hit stop, your spoken words are instantly converted to an MP3 file that you can download.

 

My Story Maker

*Students can use a story helper to create his/her own story. A great interactive way to get students excited about the writing process. Choose to print or share online.

 

  Kerpoof

*Too many options at this site. Make a movie, make a card, make a picture, doodle a bit, you can do it all here!! Awesome! Check it out to many options to list!

 

 

Dreezle 

*Students can doodle away on this drawing resource. Print out the work when all finished or print the screen and paste it into Powerpoint. Then right click and save as an image.

 

 

Scribd 

*Upload any document to Sribd and share it with the world. The site creates the code for you to embed the uploaded document into your blog or site.

 

 

Slideshare

*Upload Powerpoints, PDF's, and Word Doc's to share using Slide Share. You can even add audio to make a webinar. A great way to share your documents with the world.

 

 

Gabcast

*A podcast hosting site that allows you to create a podcast by using your cell phone. Very inexpensive and easy to use. Your phoned in podcasts can be embedding directly into your website or blog.

 

VozMe  

*Free text to speech tool. You type in what you would like to be spoken and the site will create an mp3 of your typed text. Many voices to choose from.

 

Build Your Wild Self

*A fun and educational site that allows students to create their own self. Inspires creativity and imagination. Fun tool for kids.

 

Doppleme

*Create an avatar with this site. You can customize hair, clothes, eyes, shoes and much much more. You can then embed into your site or blog!
