Below is a list of websites that I have found to be great resources. The website may include interactive games, printable worksheets or simply provide insight into the education of children. I have also included any worksheets/manipulatives that I have utilized this school year to aid in the educational process of my students. I will continue to add to the list of resources as I come across them.   • A website that allows you to make free printable math worksheets. Has a wide range of skills: money, +, -, place value, multiplication, division, etc..

  • You will find any subject at this site. Click the subject you want resources for and it will provide numerous printable worksheets.

  • Awesome website for telling time worksheets. You type in the time and it will generate a worksheet for you. From digital to analog practice this site is perfect.

  • This website is awesome. You can select grade specific activities and interactive games. There are games that allow you to customize the range of numbers used as well as how many problems your child will have to solve. You can also see the percentage of problems your child is getting right. For example there is a place value game where you get to choose what range of numbers to quiz.   • A very skill specific website. Find resources for long/short vowels, beginning sounds, ending sounds, the possibilities go on and on.

  • An interactive site that provides fun filled activities for students to practice/develop their reading skills.

  • A great website to print early reader books. You can print sight word books as well as word family books. Although this website is geared more towards early readers there are numerous resources to utilize.

  • This website has a wide variety of grade specific activities. There are interactive quizzes that enable you to quiz over parts of speech such as verbs, nouns, adjectives. You can also find quizzes for long vowel sounds and even customizable quizzes. For example you can enter the words you want for a word sort game where students must sort the words alphabetically.

  • A great website to develop vocabulary. There are audio files that you listen to and worksheets that go with each audio file. So while students listen to the words being read orally, the student has the worksheet and must circle the picture that goes with the word. A great resource for building vocabulary especially for ESL learners.

  • This is a fun website that has a huge selection of free printable flash cards. A great way to develop vocabulary. For example one choice for flash cards is school subjects. If you click on “school subjects” you will have a choice for large, medium, or small flashcards. However, my personal favorite is that for many of the categories have free printable bingo cards. The creators of this site also provide many ideas creating variety with game bingo. Example, Ognib—which is bingo in reverse. Everyone starts with a card covered with markers and as a word on the card is called, the marker is removed. You must yell Ognib to win!!! How fun!!!!

If you have an area you want to help your child in, this website will definitely have the resources you will need.

A great ESL resource with 7 printable card sets, 7 printable board games and 7 more printable games. Great website and resource for helping develop an understanding of our English language for ESL learners.

  • A variety of flash based educational games. Students can play interactive flash games. The games range in ability and subject. For example some of the games you can choose deal with phonics while some of the games deal with present tense and present perfect tense.

  • Very similar to a word search. You are given a word and must find the word and lasso it.

WordBlender

  • The blender will say a beginning sound and then will say an ending sound. You must put the two sounds together and the blender will blend them together to see what word you have created.
